Krishna Rao is an accomplished data and analytics leader with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Decisions and Data at Upstart since November 2024, Krishna manages engineering and product teams focused on enhancing lending decision processes. Prior to this, Krishna was the Head of Data at Headway, leading machine learning and data initiatives to transform mental healthcare. At Landed, as Vice President and Head of Data and Program Operations, Krishna oversaw data analytics and asset management functions. Previous positions include Vice President at Zillow, where Krishna scaled a large analytics team, and roles at the U.S. Census Bureau and Stanford University, contributing to research and teaching. Krishna holds a PhD in Economics from Stanford University and a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Columbia University.
