Cristina Gonzalez-Longo

Founder And Director Of The Msc In Architectural Design For The Conservation Of Built Heritage

Cristina Gonzalez-Longo is an accomplished architect and academic with extensive experience in architectural design and conservation. As the owner of CG-LA since 1996, Cristina also serves as the President of the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Education and Training since September 2020. At the University of Strathclyde, Cristina founded and directs the MSc in Architectural Design for the Conservation of Built Heritage, a role held since 2013. Prior experience includes positions as Design Studio Unit Leader and MSc Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh from 2007 to 2013. Cristina holds a PhD in Architectural Design from ETSAM in Madrid and has completed multiple specializations in architectural conservation from prestigious institutions, including Sapienza Università di Roma.
