Hari Shankar is currently an Assistant Professor in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania. They previously served as an Associate Medical Director in the Medical ICU at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from 2021 to 2023 and completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Penn Medicine from 2018 to 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Resident at Penn Medicine from 2017 to 2018. Hari earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, graduating in 2014.
