Sandy Wood is an experienced trauma surgeon specializing in limb reconstruction and knee surgery, particularly using the Ilizarov technique. They served as a Detachment Commander and Company Commander during their time with the Royal Marines Reserve from 2011 to 2013. With a distinguished background in the Royal Navy from 1998 to 2015 as a Medical Officer and Orthopaedic Consultant, Sandy has contributed significantly to the field. Currently, they serve as an Orthopaedic Consultant at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and as an Educational Supervisor at the University of Oxford, while pursuing advanced degrees in Sports Medicine, Medicine, and a Bachelor's in Science.
