Saion Sinha is the CEO and Founder of 12-15 Molecular Diagnostics, Inc., where efforts focus on commercializing a Point of Care Rapid screening platform capable of quickly distinguishing viral and bacterial infections in humans, animals, and food. Under Saion Sinha's leadership, the company has developed an accurate screening device for COVID-19 that utilizes saliva samples and provides results in just 20 minutes. In addition to entrepreneurial pursuits, Saion Sinha serves as a Professor in the Department of Physics and Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of New Haven, having progressed through the academic ranks to this position. Saion Sinha holds a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the University of Kentucky and an integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
