Steve Lawton has extensive experience in financial management and systems, currently serving as the Head of Financial & Control Management at the University of Kent since February 2009, while also holding previous roles as Finance Systems Manager and Finance Systems Officer within the same institution. Steve's background includes serving as Trustee and Treasurer at the Horsebridge Arts Centre from September 2017 to January 2024, as well as a tenure as Systems Accountant at Markel and AMP. Earlier in the career, Steve was an Assistant Accountant at Public Trust. Steve holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration in Accounting and Finance from Victoria University of Wellington.
