Dr. Suresh Khator is the Senior Associate Dean at the University of Houston, where they continue to shape graduate and international programs and oversee computing facilities within the Cullen College of Engineering. Previously, Khator served as an Associate Dean at the University of Houston from 2008 to 2026 and as a Professor and Director at the University of South Florida from 1983 to 2008. Their early career included a consultancy role in the Computer Division at ASCI from 1975 to 1980, where they led significant software projects and conducted workshops. Khator earned a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an M.Tech. in Production & Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
