Professor Kate Asante has extensive experience in higher education and workforce development. Currently, Kate serves as a Board Member on the Skills & Employment Panel for Hertfordshire Futures. Previous roles include Project Manager for Degree Apprenticeships & CPD at Queen Mary University of London, Head of Apprenticeships & Workforce Development, and Professor of Skills & Innovation at the University of Hertfordshire. Additional experience includes a Lecturer position at Brunel University London, and various management roles focusing on student engagement and policy advisement at institutions such as the University of Westminster and the Equality Challenge Unit. Kate holds a Bachelor’s Degree from London Metropolitan University, a Master’s Degree from UCL Institute of Education, and a Ph.D. from Brunel University London.
