Betty Hensellek

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Betty Hensellek, PhD, currently serves as a Designer and Researcher for Informed XP at the National Science Foundation and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Islamic Art at the University of Cincinnati. With extensive experience in UX/UI design, Betty has worked at companies such as Xerox, where responsibilities included leading user interviews, conducting usability testing, and managing design documentation. At Cornell University, Betty served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and UX/UI Designer, conceptualizing a digital database for an art collection. Academic achievements include a PhD in History of Art & Design from Cornell University, along with various research and teaching positions across notable institutions. Betty's work includes significant contributions to user experience design, research methodologies in art history, and cross-departmental collaborations in museum settings.
