E. Gabriel Sandoval is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in building automation and energy management systems. Currently serving as a Senior Controls and Commissioning Engineer at the University of California, San Francisco since March 2021, Sandoval previously held multiple roles at Stanford University, including Facilities Automation Center Operations/Technology Manager and Project Manager for Building Automation Systems from July 2018 to March 2021. Prior experience also includes the position of Energy Management Systems Supervisor at the University of California, San Francisco from February 2015 to July 2018, and Building Automation Programmer/Analyst at UC Santa Cruz from July 2006 to February 2015. Sandoval’s career began as a Building Automation Technician at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from June 2001 to June 2006, where maintenance, servicing, and installation of various building management systems were key responsibilities.
