Billy Jong, CPA, CGA, is currently the Associate Director of Finance at the University of British Columbia, where they oversee the quarterly operating forecast and facilitate the strategic planning process within the VP Academic and Provost Portfolio. Previously, they served as the Director of Finance for UBC Extended Learning, managing finance and IT teams and steering the transition from UBC Continuing Studies to UBC Extended Learning. Earlier in their career, Billy held accounting positions at Ticketmaster Entertainment and Paris Orthotics Ltd, and worked as a Senior Accountant at Business Objects. Billy's educational background includes pursuing a BTECH in Accounting from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a CGA in Accounting and Finance from the Certified General Accountants - BC.
