Joel Gonzalez Lara is currently working at the Centro de Análisis de Datos y Supercómputo at the Universidad de Guadalajara, where they support users in installing applications on the cluster and create testing scripts for environments. As a scientific applications specialist in HPC and data analytics since 2021, they have collaborated on various projects, contributing to articles in toxigenomics and developing skills in teamwork, communication, and project leadership. Additionally, Joel teaches a diploma course in quantitative methods and HPC applied to data analytics at the Universidad de Guadalajara. They also held research assistant positions at CUTonalá and the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Xalapa, focusing on data preprocessing and visualization. Joel holds a degree in Computer Science from the Universidad de Guadalajara and completed training at the Laboratorio Nacional de Computación de Alto Rendimiento for HPC administrators.
