Nicholas Deschenes holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Photonics and Optoelectronics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Florida Institute of Technology. Professional experience includes roles such as Assistant Professor of Space Physics at the United States Military Academy and Director of Technical Operations for Special Operations Command Europe. Nicholas has a strong background in military operations, serving in various capacities in the United States Army, including Deputy Chief of Future Operations, Senior Army Space Officer for US Africa Command, and Chief Planning Officer of Space Operations at the Army Space and Missile Defense Command. Additionally, Nicholas is the founding President of the Army Space Professionals Association Corps Chapter.
