Xiang Liu is an experienced professional with a robust background in risk management, analytics, and engineering. Currently serving as Vice President of Balance Sheet Risk Management at United Overseas Bank Limited since May 2015, Xiang Liu leads the development of liquidity and banking book interest-rate risk models. Previously, as Assistant Vice President at OCBC Bank, responsibilities included consumer portfolio risk analytics and generating critical risk reports, while also standardizing reporting formats. Prior experience spans analytical roles at Standard Chartered Bank, where Xiang Liu successfully managed marketing campaigns, and technical positions at Lam Research and Siltronic AG, focusing on wafer process engineering. Xiang Liu holds an MBA in Finance from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
