Seema Hafeez is a Senior Public Administration and Governance Officer at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, with 33 years of development policy and management experience. Throughout their career, Seema has worked on economic and social development issues in over 25 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. They previously served as an Economic Affairs Officer with the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia and the United Nations Commission for Western Asia. Seema holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University and has an extensive educational background in economics and business, including degrees from the University of the Punjab and Quaid-i-Azam University.
