Daniel Szafryk-Koiki has extensive experience in power trading and operations, currently serving as the Head of Power Short Term Trading & Dispatch CE at Uniper since January 2016. Daniel's responsibilities include process development for renewable energy management, short-term portfolio balancing, demand forecasting, and leading operational teams across Europe. Prior roles at Uniper include Vice President Trading & Sales Operations and various leadership positions in trading and sales. Prior to Uniper, Daniel worked at E.ON from April 2007 to December 2015, where roles included Head of Intraday Operations Continental Europe and Head of Power Operations Italy, focusing on market access, asset optimization, and team development. Daniel holds a degree from Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena.
