Simon James is a founding partner at Wylan/James Development, a Los Angeles-based design and build company that creates innovative residential spaces. In addition, Simon serves as a co-owner of Union Los Angeles, a renowned menswear boutique specializing in exclusive brands from around the world. Previously, Simon held the position of Vice President - Global Creative at Smashbox Cosmetics, where responsibilities included strategic planning and overseeing a team dedicated to global branding and creative direction. Simon co-founded and acted as art director for Vellum Magazine, and has experience as a designer with Picture Magazine. Educational background includes studies at the Academy of Art University, ArtCenter College of Design, and Marymount California University.
