Lashaunda Watson is the Network Coordinator at Higher Ground Boston. Lashaunda has over three years of experience in the social services field, with a focus on career counseling and program coordination.

Lashaunda began their career as an Intern at the Department of Transitional Assistance, where they provided comprehensive career counseling services to clients and follow-up with providers on client referrals. Lashaunda also developed and maintained relationships with various program vendors, and daily monitored program spending.

In February 2017, Lashaunda took on the role of Correspondence Coordinator at BMC HealthNet Plan/Well Sense Health Plan. In this role, they were responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing correspondence, as well as maintaining up-to-date records of program contacts.

In June 2018, Lashaunda joined Steward Health Care as an Admin Asst Member Incentives Program. In this role, they were responsible for administering member incentive programs and working with vendors to exchange information and resolve programming issues.

Lashaunda is a strong advocate for the economically disadvantaged and dislocated worker, and is passionate about helping others reach their full potential. Lashaunda is currently pursuing a degree in Social Work from Simmons University.

Lashaunda Watson has an associate's degree in psychology from Bunkerhill Community College and a bachelor's degree in business/corporate communications from Southern New Hampshire University.
