Ruth Schöffl is the Leiterin PR/Öffentlichkeitsarbeit at UNHCR in Österreich, a position held since 2010. Prior to this role, Ruth served as a Referentin für Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit at Caritas der Erzdiözese Wien from 2009 to 2010 and as Pressesprecherin at GLOBAL 2000 between 2007 and 2009. Ruth also worked as a PR-Managerin for Österreich Werbung / Austrian National Tourist Office from 2002 to 2007. Ruth is currently pursuing a Magistra in Publizistik- und Kommunikationswissenschaften at Universität Wien, having previously earned a Master of Advanced Studies in Public Relations from the same institution from 1999 to 2001.
