Julie Rawe, CPACC, is the Director of Content Strategy and Accessibility at Understood.org, where they lead innovative content initiatives aimed at improving accessibility. Previously, Julie served as a Senior Editor at Time Magazine from 2008 to 2013, overseeing features and educational coverage. They also held the role of Special Projects Editor at Understood from 2019 to 2022, focusing on enhancing content usability. In addition to their professional experience, Julie is actively involved with the W3C as the co-facilitator of the Cognitive and Learning Disabilities Task Force and an editor for WCAG 3, contributing to the development of guidelines to support individuals with diverse learning needs. Julie studied at Princeton University and continues to pursue education there.
