Animesh Sabnis, MD, MSHS, MFA, FAAP, is the inaugural Director of Health Equity Analytics and Strategy at UCLA Health, where they implement solutions to address health inequities and chair the Equitable Care Committee. Animesh is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, recognized for excellence in neonatal-perinatal medicine. Animesh has pursued advanced studies in biomedical ethics, creative writing, medicine, and health policy, and is certified as an improvement coach by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Their passion lies in advocating for justice as a foundational element of optimal patient care.
