Amanda Tan is the Director of Research Administration, Operations and Strategy at UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, where they are dedicated to advancing the U.S. research enterprise through high-quality data and project management. Amanda has previously held roles such as Proposal Development Manager at Boston University School of Medicine and Research Grant Manager at Boston Children's Hospital. They began their professional journey as a Veterinary Lab Technician at Advanced Veterinary Analysis and have gained extensive experience across various institutions, including UCSD Center for Management Science in Health and City of Hope. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Physiology from UC San Diego and a Master of Science in Management with a specialization in Research Administration from Emmanuel College.
