Jerome Jacq is a Principal Scientist at UCB, serving since July 2011, with a focus on high throughput organic chemistry in the Chemical Research Department. Jerome has extensive experience in flow chemistry, notably in multistep synthesis, asymmetric reactions, and automation development for library production. Prior to UCB, Jerome held a post-doctoral position at the University of Waterloo and completed a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry at Université Joseph Fourier. Additional internships include chemical development at Oril Industrie and research on polypropylene at Thomas Bata University. Jerome's educational background encompasses various degrees in chemistry, culminating in specialized training in flow chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
