Elizabeth Stevens is a highly experienced Principal Scientist in In Vitro Pharmacology at UCB, where responsibilities include complex in vitro assay development, high-throughput screening for drug discovery, and designing experimental approaches to investigate pharmacological mechanisms. Prior to this role, Elizabeth worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry, focusing on discovering small molecule therapies for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) through industry collaboration and pre-clinical validation using transgenic mouse models. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Child Health, specializing in neuromuscular disorders, from University College London.
