Matthew Tan is a connector with a strong focus on people, relationships, and partnerships. As the Associate Director of Partnerships at The University of British Columbia since 2017, they have contributed significantly to various initiatives, including serving on the UBC Vancouver Senate and as a board member of the UBC Board of Governors. Their past experience includes roles such as Community Campaigns Specialist at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. & Yukon and Fellowship Advisor for the APRU Esports Program. Matthew is currently a member of the Beyond Belief Campaign Cabinet at BC Cancer Foundation and has held leadership positions at organizations like Global Resource for Advancing Cancer Education. They earned a BSc from The University of British Columbia and pursued further education at the UBC Sauder School of Business.
