Paul Johnson is the Chief Administrative and Financial Officer at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, a position held since 2024. They previously served as Deputy Chief Administrative Officer at the same organization from 2015 to 2024. Their extensive experience includes roles as Chief Operating Officer and Assistant Inspector General at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from 2007 to 2013, and they also acted as a Senior Advisor to the Assistant Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice in 2010. Paul holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland College Park and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Virginia Tech.
