CDR Dakota McMurray, PharmD, MPH, BCPS, is a Pharmacist with the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since 2013. Dakota began their training as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident with the Indian Health Service in Crownpoint, NM, and later served as an Advanced Practice Pharmacist and Residency Director at the same facility. After transitioning to a focus on epidemiology, Dakota now works in Washington D.C., where they oversee public health and medical intelligence operations for U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Dakota holds a PhD in Public Health from Walden University and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
