Steve Brechtel is an experienced trader with a career spanning several decades in the finance and trading sectors. Since August 2011, Steve has served as a Trader at Two Sigma Investments. Prior to this role, Steve was the Owner/Partner at Silverton Mountain from July 2002 to October 2023, and held positions at Crabel Capital Management, LLC as a Trader and Overnight Execution Manager from September 2004 to June 2011, and at Breakwater Trading in 2004. Steve's trading career began at Trout Trading/Tewksbury Capital Management, where Steve worked from December 1992 to May 2003. Educationally, Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from William & Mary (1984-1988) and had additional studies at the University of London in 1987.
