James Helfrich is a data scientist with over seven years of experience in applying AI and machine learning. They have held positions at various organizations, most recently serving as Head of Data Science at Grain Technology. Previously, they worked as a Data Scientist at IBM and Moveworks, where they developed AI solutions, conducted statistical analyses, and led data engineering teams. James began their career as an Economist at the Texas Workforce Commission and also has a diverse background in project management and research. They hold a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University-San Marcos and completed a Data Science Immersive at Galvanize.
