Wen Cong, Ph.D., E.I.T., currently serves as a Senior Engineer I at Trussell, specializing in water and wastewater treatment consulting, design, and applied research since December 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2015 to December 2022, where responsibilities encompassed designing tests, grading, and leading student travel teams for water treatment initiatives in Puerto Rico and Uganda. Wen Cong obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in December 2022, a Master's degree in the same field in 2017, and a Bachelor's degree from Zhejiang University in 2016.
