Michael Carter is the Executive Vice President and Chief Partner Officer at Truist, a position held since 2025. Previously, they served as the Global Head of Technology Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets from 2013 to 2021 and were a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers from 1994 to 2008. Carter also held leadership roles at Barclays Investment Bank and Truist Securities, overseeing various corporate and investment banking functions. Additionally, they were a former public board director at CSI, a provider of financial software and technology. Carter is currently pursuing an MBA at Harvard Business School and has been affiliated with Washington University in St. Louis.
