Eliza de Jager has extensive experience in software engineering and management, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Tiko since April 2024. Prior to this role, Eliza was employed at Prodigy Finance from September 2018 to April 2024, where responsibilities included senior engineering management for four software engineering teams in the Loans Originations domain, as well as development management for early-choice and mobile development teams. Eliza's technical expertise encompasses cloud-based systems and various programming technologies, gained through roles at Zappi, Confluence, Old Mutual Investment Group, and Capesoft, where skills in Ruby on Rails, Microsoft SQL Services, and C# were developed. Eliza holds a Master of Science in Mathematics, as well as other degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Cape Town.
