The facility Is 72,000 sq. ft., One Of The Largest Public Aquatic Facilities In North Carolina.

Our Center was founded to fill the long-term need for year-round public aquatic facilities that addresses the health, safety, recreation and competition needs of Triangle citizens and organizations. TAC is the host to over 70 aquatic events and visited by more than 450,000 patrons annually. TAC is the home for the TAC TITANS Swim Team, NCHSAA Championships, Special Olympics of North Carolina, the National Black Heritage Meet, Boys and Girls Clubs of Wake County, and many more.

The Aquatics Instruction and Coaching team at Triangle Aquatic Center is dedicated to providing high-quality swim education and coaching for individuals of all ages and skill levels. This team focuses on developing swimming techniques, promoting water safety, and facilitating competitive training for the TAC TITANS Swim Team, while also offering aqua aerobics classes and lifeguard training in partnership with the Red Cross. Through their expertise, they contribute to the overall mission of fostering health, recreation, and competition within the Triangle community.
