Daniel Ghoprial is a first-generation aspiring physician and proud Orthodox Copt from Egypt. Currently serving as a Student Ambassador at The City University of New York and the Senior President of Midwood High School's Student Government, Daniel leads initiatives aimed at enhancing student engagement and well-being. With substantial hands-on experience in healthcare as a Medical Volunteer at Juniper Family Medicine and a Medical Scribe at Gary Chen, M.D. Clinic, Daniel has cultivated a deep commitment to patient care. In addition to academic pursuits in the medical field, they actively advocate for accessibility and wellness through various clubs and volunteer roles within local organizations. Daniel is dedicated to fostering community and inclusivity among peers through leadership and grassroots initiatives.
