Eva Kielczewski

Software Quality Assurance and Applications

Eva Kielczewski is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in various industries. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University until 2006. Eva then served as a Research Assistant at James Cook University from 2010 to 2010, where they were a part of an advisory committee for a loggerhead turtle status report.

In 2011, Eva worked as a Reef Restoration Scientific Diver at Gili Eco Trust, contributing to reef restoration efforts. From 2012 to 2012, they were a Quality & Regulatory Microbiologist and Analyst at Covidien, focusing on quality control and regulatory compliance.

In the same year, they also worked at EDSI as a Program Participant, gaining on-the-job training in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area through the Workforce Investment Act. That year, Eva joined Bioptigen, Inc., where they held multiple roles, including Quality Engineer, Field Service Engineer, and Imaging Specialist. In these positions, they worked on change analysis for medical device manufacturing, provided field services for medical equipment, and trained clinical researchers and CROs in ophthalmology imaging.

In 2015, Eva started working at Leica Microsystems as a Research Applications Engineer, responsible for providing scientific support, designing software and hardware features, and supporting imaging protocols. Eva later became a Product Manager for OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) for Life Science Research, where they managed customer and internal training events and represented the research product line in global exhibitions.

In 2020, Eva joined William Travis Jewelry as a Metalsmith, contributing to the design and fabrication of custom fine jewelry. Eva also worked on 3D CAD/CAM projects and fostered client relationships.

Most recently, in 2022, Eva became a Software Quality Assurance Consultant at Translational Imaging Innovations, where they are currently utilizing their expertise in quality assurance.

Eva Kielczewski completed their Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in French from North Carolina State University from 2003 to 2007. Eva then pursued their Master of Science (MSc) in Marine & Tropical Biology from James Cook University from 2008 to 2010.
