Emma Bacon (nee Field) is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in corporate communications and public relations. They held positions as a Communications Manager at ASB Bank in 2022 and as a PR/Communications and Content Lead at Trade Me in 2025. Previously, Emma was a National Broadcast Journalist at MediaWorks NZ from 2008 to 2012 and worked as a Journalist at Allied Press Limited from 2006 to 2008. Emma earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies from the University of Otago between 2002 and 2005.
