Kieron Cardall is a software engineer turned tech policy professional with significant government experience, most recently serving as a Data Protection and Sovereignty Senior Analyst at TikTok. They have previously held roles at the Information Commissioner's Office and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, focusing on online safety policy and encryption. Kieron also contributes to the standardization of cryptography as a committee member for the British Standards Institution. Currently, they are engaged in freelance tech policy consulting while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Bath and an executive education program at the University of Oxford.
