Stephen Obana is a seasoned executive in the Life Sciences and MedTech industry, currently serving as the SVP of Life Sciences and MedTech Americas at Thoughtworks since 2025. With a strong background in leadership roles, they previously held positions such as Vice President at Capgemini, where they led the Life Sciences Portfolio and North America Strategy. Before that, Stephen was Managing Director at Magellan Advisors and served as Vice President and General Manager at Microfinancial, Inc. They hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley and are also an Advisory Board member at UC Irvine. Stephen's career began with a role as a Commercial Loan Officer at Wells Fargo Bank in the late 1980s.
