Mark Kimak is a dedicated Field Applications Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they focus on advancing genetic discovery and facilitating clinical services from concept to market. Previously, Mark served as a Lab Manager at the University of Pittsburgh, overseeing multiple grant-funded genetic projects, and worked as a Research Associate, conducting specialized assays and project coordination. Prior to their tenure at the University of Pittsburgh, Mark was a Genetic Counselor at the Genetics Institute of Florida, providing guidance on genetic origins. Mark holds a Master's degree in Human/Medical Genetics from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pennsylvania State University.
