Andrea Carbonaro, PhD, is a strategic and growth-oriented general manager with over 15 years of experience in leadership roles within the biotechnology and scientific sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director & General Manager of Inorganic Mass Spectrometry at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Andrea has previously held multiple positions, including Senior Product Manager at Life Technologies and Director of Product Management at both Genetic Sciences Division and Clinical Testing Solutions at Thermo Fisher. Andrea co-founded L2 Biometrics, Inc. and has contributed to the field as a graduate student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where they also earned a PhD. Andrea's academic credentials include degrees from Politecnico di Torino, Ecole centrale de Lyon, and the University of California, Berkeley.
