Saad Yousaf is a Graduate Student Researcher at the ReNeu Robotics Lab at The University of Texas at Austin since August 2019, with previous experience as a Research Scientist Intern at Meta's Reality Labs from July 2023 to January 2024. Yousaf served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Mechatronics and Haptic Interfaces Lab at Rice University, contributing to the design of a robotic glove and improvements for the MAHI Exo II exoskeleton. Additional experience includes roles at Rice Eclipse, where Yousaf led the structures team in rocket component design, and an internship at Houston Mechatronics, Inc., focusing on the design of subsea robotics. Yousaf also interned at the Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen, developing assistive devices for cerebral palsy patients. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from Rice University followed by advanced studies at The University of Texas at Austin.
