Andy Hogben is an accomplished professional in technology transfer and commercialization, currently serving as the Head of Impact and Intellectual Property at The University of Sheffield since April 2015, where responsibilities include leading technology transfer and managing the commercialization of scientific innovations. Previously, Andy held the position of Commercialisation Manager for Science, focusing on the development of spin-out companies and overseeing license negotiations. Additionally, Andy has served as Director at SUEL Ltd, offering finance business partnering services, and was Managing Director at Redbrick Molecular Ltd, specializing in the development of organic chemicals for research purposes. In earlier roles, Andy contributed to BP's flagship ethanol to ethylene programme as a Pilot Plant Chemist and participated in the BP graduate scheme. Andy's educational background includes a Natural Sciences degree in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge.
