Tom Newall is an accomplished conductor and musical director with extensive experience across various prestigious organizations. From September 2012 to March 2022, Tom served as a Vocal Animateur at Blackburn Cathedral, focusing on outreach projects in primary schools. Currently, Tom is the Musical Director of Salford Choral Society and holds the position of Orchestral Conductor at the University of Warwick. Additional roles include Musical Director for Leeds Youth Opera and Blackburn Music Society, artistic leadership in the Piccadilly Symphony Orchestra, and ongoing contributions as Music Director for Congleton Choral Society. Tom's projects showcase a commitment to community engagement and the development of young talent, highlighted by the role in the Buxton International Festival. Tom received a Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting from the Royal Northern College of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Durham.
