Aubrey Maze, MD, FAAP, FASA, is a physician entrepreneur and healthcare industry leader with extensive experience in executive roles for both public and private healthcare companies. They founded Valley Anesthesiology Consultants, a solo practice that expanded to 260 physicians before its acquisitions by Sheridan-AMSURG and later by Envision Healthcare, where Aubrey led the largest anesthesiology group in the U.S. and served as president of Envision’s West Division. Aubrey also launched Preferred Physicians Medical, a pioneering liability insurance provider acquired by NORCAL in 2016. They currently serve as Executive Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Arizona and have held various nonprofit board positions, including with the Ear Foundation and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Aubrey earned their medical degree from the University of Cape Town and completed their residency at Stanford University.
