Eilidh Carmichael is currently a Senior Strategy Officer in the Strategic Coordination Unit at the Scottish Government. They previously held roles as Senior Policy Adviser in the First Minister's Strategic Policy Unit and Policy Manager for Healthcare Planning and Quality at the same organization. Prior to their tenure at the Scottish Government, Eilidh served as a Policy & External Affairs Officer at the General Medical Council and led the Parliamentary Monitoring Team at Newsdirect (UK) Ltd. Eilidh began their career as a Constituency Intern with a Member of Parliament and received their undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh.
