Sam Canney currently serves as the Senior Programs Coordinator for Art & Community Impact at Research Triangle Park, where responsibilities include shaping programming strategy and building sustainable community partnerships. Previously, Sam was the Programs Coordinator at the same organization, leading strategic planning for over 500 annual events. As Founder & Co-Director of Third Angle Collective, Sam directs a team focused on poetry and social change in Durham, NC. Sam's experience also includes consulting roles at EY and Sustainable Markets Initiative, as well as positions at Innovate Carolina, Decent Cybersecurity, Apple, WasteLess, Raleigh Marketing Consultants, and Ruffalo Noel Levitz. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Corporate Strategy and Entrepreneurship from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
