Established on May 6, 1860, The Olympic Club enjoys the distinction of being one of America’s oldest athletic clubs. Long a west coast powerhouse in amateur sports, the Club is the home of many local, regional, national and international champions. Olympians compete in over 19 sports and enjoy two historic clubhouses in San Francisco: the City Clubhouse, near Union Square, and Lakeside, at the Pacific Ocean. While known for being an athletics powerhouse, the Club is also a social community with a variety of dining and leisure options available between the two clubhouses for over 11,000 members worldwide. This includes overseeing real estate development, managing procurement and vendor relationships, coordinating membership services, and ensuring the robust operation of IT systems. The team works collectively to uphold the high standards of service and excellence that define The Olympic Club’s member experience.

The Sports and Fitness Team at The Olympic Club is dedicated to providing exceptional fitness and athletic training to members. This dynamic team includes roles such as swim coaches, personal trainers, exercise instructors, and gymnasium managers. They oversee a wide array of programs ranging from swimming and water polo to cycling and general fitness, ensuring that members of all ages and skill levels can achieve their health and athletic goals in a supportive and professional environment.
