Vernon Jones is a Government Affairs Consultant with extensive experience in public policy and elected office. They served as the County Executive for DeKalb County from 2001 to 2008 and were a State Representative in Georgia from 2016 to 2020. Since 2009, they have worked as a self-employed consultant and as a Senior Public Policy Advisor and Strategist with The Jones Group. Additionally, Vernon contributes to national news as a freelance writer. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at North Carolina Central University.
