Anthony Thompson is a PhD candidate in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland, where they completed their doctoral studies in 2023. They previously earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, between 2016 and 2018. Anthony has held various roles, including Senior Professional Staff at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since 2023, a Mechatronics Engineer at Squishy Robotics in 2019, and an Undergraduate Researcher at both the Berkeley Emergent Space Tensegrities Lab and the Collective Dynamics and Controls Lab in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Additionally, Anthony gained extensive hands-on experience as an Electrician Apprentice at AWT Construction Company from 2009 to 2016, where they were involved in numerous residential electrical projects.
