The Holdsworth Center is a premier leadership institute based in Austin, Texas with the goal of supporting and developing public school leaders in order to improve, over time, the quality of education offered to every child in every classroom in Texas.

We are developing a leadership culture within school districts that will build the foundation for greater student success. Our goal is to work with partner districts over a sustained period of time in order to create systemic change and structures around the identification, training, development and support of future leaders.

We work hand-in-hand with districts to strengthen leaders and leadership culture through development programs that are aligned from the superintendent’s office down to campus principals. We help districts understand their own gaps in talent management, to establish their individual goals and priorities, and to develop action plans that will lead to sustainable changes. Throughout the partnership, the District Support team offers implementation assistance to ensure that key learnings from each immersive training session have an opportunity to take root.

District Support Team

The Program Management team at The Holdsworth Center is responsible for the design, execution, and oversight of leadership development programs targeting public school leaders across Texas. This team coordinates a diverse array of initiatives, including superintendent pipelines and campus leadership programs, ensuring their alignment with district goals. By working closely with district partners, the team identifies gaps in talent management, supports the creation of action plans, and assists with the implementation of key learnings to foster sustainable change in leadership cultures within school districts.

Program Management

The Learning and Development team at The Holdsworth Center is responsible for designing, facilitating, and assessing leadership development programs aimed at strengthening educational leadership within partner school districts. This team works collaboratively to create immersive training sessions, develop learning resources, and ensure the effective implementation of leadership strategies to promote systemic and sustainable change. They play a critical role in enhancing the leadership capabilities from the superintendent level down to campus principals, ultimately supporting greater student success.

Learning and Development

The Information Technology team at The Holdsworth Center is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's digital infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of internal and external technological systems. This includes managing hardware and software needs, developing and maintaining the center's webpages and business applications, providing technical support to staff, and implementing IT solutions that facilitate efficient communication and data management. The IT team plays a crucial role in supporting the center’s mission by leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve overall organizational effectiveness.

Information Technology

The Development Team at The Holdsworth Center is responsible for designing and implementing leadership development programs for public school leaders. Their work includes creating curriculum, facilitating workshops, and providing ongoing support to partner districts to foster a culture of strong leadership. They collaborate closely with districts to identify talent management gaps and develop customized action plans to drive sustainable improvements in educational leadership and student outcomes.
